We all learn best when we are happy and supported, challenged and encouraged. At James Bateman we strive to make sure learning is enriching and enjoyable. We work with every pupil to nurture their individual abilities and to equip them for success, both academically and in terms of life skills.

    Please see the attached Show information regarding a Year 5 & 6 gymnastics club, which will be launched on Arbor this Friday 6th December at 6pm. There is a maximum of 16 places and the club will start on Monday 13th January, 3.30-4.30pm. Please look under activities - clubs - Year 5 & 6 gymnastics club

    Tickets are now on sale for James Bateman's 'alternative' pantomime - 'Adrian'. Performances will take place on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th December at 7pm in the School Hall. Ticket costs are as follows: ADULTS - £4.50, CHILDREN - £2.50 Tickets are available to purchase via the School Shop on Arbor. You will not receive a physical ticket.

    Year 8s have been continuing to refine their serve in table tennis and develop their umpiring skills. In preparation for our annual ks3 table tennis tournament and our tournament against Churnet View Middle School in the new year.
