Year 5 – Safe and Sound Workshops! Our Year 5 pupils are having a fantastic time taking part in a series of Safe and Sound workshops, learning valuable life skills to help keep themselves and others safe! 🌟 Throughout the sessions, pupils are exploring a range of important safety topics, including: 💦 Water Safety – Learning about the dangers of rivers and canals and how to stay safe around water, with the Canal & River Trust. 🚂 Railway Safety – Understanding the dangers associated with railways and how to stay safe near railway lines and level crossings. 🏡 Safety in the Home – Becoming hazard detectives by identifying potential dangers around the home and discussing how accidents can be prevented. 🚦 Road Safety – Learning how to cross roads safely, remain alert and make sensible decisions near traffic. 🚗 Seatbelt Safety – Discovering the importance of always wearing a seatbelt and how it can save lives. A brilliant opportunity for our pupils to develop their awareness, confidence and understanding of time and how to make safe, responsible choices in everyday life. A huge thank you to everyone involved in delivering these engaging and informative workshops! 🖤
