A special well done to everyone for coping so brilliantly with the hot weather this week. Despite the high temperatures, our pupils have continued to work hard, support one another and give their very best in lessons. It was fantastic to recognise so many pupils for their achievements and positive contributions to school life. The workshop was engaging, interactive and full of valuable insights, giving our students the opportunity to develop key skills and build confidence for their future education and careers. - 02 Jul 2026A huge congratulations to James Bateman's Year 5 & 6 Bee Netball team, who travelled to Keele University on 1st July to represent the Staffordshire Moorlands at the Staffordshire County Bee Netball Level 3 Games, alongside Churnet View Middle School, Leek. The team showed incredible determination, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, with several closely contested matches decided by just a few goals. Despite facing strong opposition, including eventual County Champions Codsall, the players never gave up and demonstrated outstanding team spirit until the final whistle. We are incredibly proud of every player for representing the school with such honour, commitment and enthusiasm. Well done to you all!View This Post
