James Bateman Middle School

We all learn best when we are happy and supported, challenged and encouraged. At James Bateman we strive to make sure learning is enriching and enjoyable. We work with every pupil to nurture their individual abilities and to equip them for success, both academically and in terms of life skills.

    LACHES WOOD YEAR 5 We're extremelv excited for our Laches Wood residential tomorrow and we would like to give a few reminders: All medication /inhalers will need to be brought in and labelled clearly Pupils are to come to school at the normal time. The coach will leave around 9am Bed sheet, pillow case and a duvet cover A packed lunch for the first day Please be dressed in outdoor clothing, ready to start activities upon arrival A hat and gloves just in case it gets a little cold Maximum of £5 spending money in a labelled purse/wallet is allowed for the souvenir shop No mobile phones or electronics are allowed. Card games, colouring books, reading etc. are appropriate. Indoor shoes should not be slippers as these will be used for indoor activities Snacks are allowed, but will not be permitted in dormitories. (please bring in a named bag) Plastic bag for any wet or dirty clothes Please ensure ALL belongings are named! Thank vou and be ready for tomorrow
